My Story

“If passion drives you, let reason hold the reins.”

Benjamin Franklin

Anyone who knows me well, knows that Organization and decorating have been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. In 2013 I pursued starting my own business to help people with their homes and organization. That dream ended before it took off and other dreams were accomplished; I was Licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC in the state of PA) and already working at a wonderful private practice; we also became pregnant with our first baby that July 2013! Needless to say other priorities trumped what I had started and that business was pushed to the back burner.

Fast forward almost 8 years to 2021 and a lot of my passions have resurfaced. I don’t know about other mommas out there, but now that my family is complete, I have been able to come up for air. I only had 3 babies, but the past 7 years have been devoted to pregnancies, breastfeeding, sleepless nights, keeping baby alive, & having the next baby; and very little to do with what my passion or side hobby was! Which is totally fine! I was happy to be Mom and loving on my kids, but now I am happy to have some time to take in a DEEP BREATH, look around, and grab onto the buoys that once kept me floating. Aside from JESUS, I am hoping helping others get organized and love their homes can be revived again. I believe God always has a plan, and he might have slowed me down in one direction to mature me in other ways. Maybe I just wasn’t ready.

So now, its time. I am forever grateful that even though it was never in MY plans to be a stay at home mom; it has given me a chance to think about what I want to do next. And, even though I worked 10 years in the world of Counseling, I don’t know if I will ever get back into being a LPC. I will always be thankful for that journey.

Next steps for me. In this blog I am going to write about my passions. I am still (mostly) a stay at home mom, and my life is somewhat crazy & unpredictable. I steal away moments as often as I can to write, create, or be with JESUS.

My hope is to use this platform to be a teller of my story and encourage you as a parent, or in your walk with God. Thank you for reading, and a special thanks to all my friends & family, who are encouraging me on this journey.
