Mental Trick of the Week

Schedule 5 minutes of worry time a day. Yes you read it right. Whether you worry or struggle with anxiety, telling yourself “when” you can worry is more likely to happen than telling yourself “not to worry.” Allow yourself that time each day to process and end in prayer. So what do you do when it is outside of your “worry time?” WHEN that worry thought comes tell yourself “I will worry about that later.” Yes, you might be saying that often when you first get started. Trust me it will get easier with practice!
